JIS G3454 standard specifies the carbon steel pipes, hereinafter referred to as the pipes.
Standard:
  • JIS G3454 Carbon steel pipes for pressure service at an approximate maximum temperature of 350 Degrees Celsius.
Size range of JIS G3454 (mm):
  • Outer Dimensions: 19.05mm- 114.3mm
  • Wall Thickness:2.0mm -14 mm
  • Length: max 16000mm
Application:
  • Carbon steel pipes for pressure service
  • High pressure service and high temperature service
Packing:
  • Packing: in bundles
  • Surface: Varnish coating
  • Ends: Beveled or Plain ends with Plastic caps
Inspection & Certification:
  • 1) Certification: ISO, API, ASTM, DIN etc.
  • 2) Mill Test Certificate: EN10204/3.1B
  • 3) Third party inspection: SGS, BV, Lloyds etc.

Packing: Bare/bundles/crates/crate protection at the both sides of tubes or as per customers’ requirements .

JIS G3462  is a JIS standard refers to alloy steel boiler tubes and heat exchanger tubes. This steel tubes is used in carbon steel pipes for tube heat-exchange inside and outside, such as boiler water steel pipe, superheater tube, condenser tube and more.
However, it is not applicable to the steel tubes for heating furnace and steel heat exchanger tubes for low temperature service.

The size range of  JIS G3462 boiler tubes(mm):

  • Outer Dimensions: 19.05mm-168.3mm
  • Wall Thickness:2.0mm-14 mm
  • Length: max 19000mm

Application of JIS G346s seamless tubes:

  • used for exchanging heat on the inside and outside of the tube, such as water tubes, smoke tubes, superherater tubes, air preheater tubes, etc. of boilers, and heat exchanger industries.
  • it is not applicable to the steel tubes for heating furnace and those for heat exchangers for low temperature service.
